The four-year curriculum for a B. Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture program encompasses various subject areas, including:
- Crop Production and Management: In-depth study of agronomy, plant breeding, crop physiology, and effective agricultural practices aimed at optimizing crop yield.
- Animal Science: Emphasis on livestock management, animal nutrition, genetics, breeding techniques, and strategies for maintaining animal health.
- Soil Science: : Exploration of soil properties and management techniques to support optimal crop growth, with a focus on soil fertility, conservation, and sustainable land use practices.
- Agricultural Economics:: Examination of the principles of agricultural economics, farm management, agricultural marketing, rural development, and the formulation of agricultural policies.
- Agricultural Engineering:Coverage of topics related to farm machinery, equipment, irrigation systems, post-harvest technology, and the development of agricultural infrastructure.
