Media Cell, M.J.P.Rohilkhand University
Media cell is established to play a significant role in projecting university activities, disseminating information for students related to education, admission, exams, research and achievements of University. It is serving as an important link between students, scientists, researchers, academicians, teachers, scholars and other stakeholders of the academic world. Communication has been recognised as an important input for development to disseminate and create a dialogue among different segments of the society.
Creation of Media Cell, (Associated with Vice Chancellor’s Office)
Media cell came into existance by the order of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor’s letter no. रु०वि०/कु०स०का०/2020/मेमो dated as 29.08.2020. On Ninth of October, 2020 Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. K.P. Singh inaugurated Media Cell, situated at room number 19 of administrative building of the M.J.P. Rohilkhand University, Bareilly. Media cell is associated with Vice Chancellor’s office, it is directly responsible towards Honourable Vice Chancellor. As per the office order Media Cell has following functions:
- To establish better conversation and communication of achievements of M.J.P. Rohilkhand university,
Bareilly through the electronic , print and social media platforms, specially Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter,
Youtube and Instagram.
- To provide information about academic, cultural, and government programs.
- To provide information regarding educational and administrative decisions and works of University.
- Publication of University newsletter etc.
Note:-
The whole and sole authority of media cell is intacted with Dr. Amit Singh, H.O.D., Law Department, M.J.P. Rohilkhand University. He has authority for work allotment among the members, functioning and maintenance of cell etc.
Presently Media cell has three units.
- Print Media Section ( Covering national newspapers, magazines and University Newsletters etc.
- Electronic Media Section ( Covering national and local news channels)
- Social Media Section ( Covering social media platforms like facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram.)
Now Media Cell has blossomed into full fledged unit in strengthening and building up the image of M.J.P. Rohilkhand University. Our mandate is to disseminate information for students of university through mass media.
