Department of Humanities
The Department of Humanities was established in 1996 and since 2007 it is housed in the Applied Sciences & Humanities Building. The Department has a well-equipped Seminar Room, two classrooms and one fully equipped 20-seater Language Laboratory funded by TEQIP-III (Hardware) and RUSA (Software).
The Department has an Associate Professor, while there is 01 post for Assistant Professor in Economics lying vacant. There are 02 faculty members 01 Mandarin Teacher. Engineering Economics, Principles of Management, Human Values & Professional Ethics and Communicative English are the disciplines, taught to our students.
Department takes pride in its faculties who are experienced, knowledgeable and published number of research papers on National & International level. As we all know extra-curricular and co-curricular activities are like oxygen for the students. The department of Humanities has successfully organised three National level Conferences and a one week Workshop. Number of one day activities have been organised time to time by the department for the betterment of the faculties as well as the students of the Institute.
