Objectives
- To generate competent postgraduate bioinformatics students capable of working at reputable academic and research establishments.
- To encourage students to pursue higher education by competing with normal students while introducing them to new aspects of bioinformatics..

- To offer generic electives to non-departmental students (Biotechnology, Microbiology, Agriculture Science, Computer Science) to better their understanding of bioinformatics.
