Infrastructure Facilities
The Library cum Reading Room has a seating capacity of 100 students with educational journal and 25 hundred books including text book, reference books and encyclopaedias. The library has a photocopy and computer with an internet facility for the utilization of faculty and students.
Beautifully landscaped and neatly tended gardens around the bulding housing the department enhance its magnificence and allow students to utilize the garden spaces for their games, discussion and conversation; sometimes, classes are held in the open green spaces.
The Department offers clean drinking water facility (with RO) to their students and lavatories separately for boys and girls and staff. Washroom facilities that specifically support divyang persons are found on the ground floor. Water and power supply is accessible non-stop. The solar panels are fitted in the department to support power supply. Power failure, if any, is managed by invertors and generators. The safety and security of the department is ensured 24x7 hrs through the surveillance cameras and guards. Ample vehicle parking space is an additional benefit in the department. Safeguard against fire hazards is dealt with by using fire protection and safety equipment.
