The Department Electronics & Communication Engineering was established in 1995, and was started in the building of its own and occupying a space of 1886 sqm.
There are 4 class rooms/lecture halls, one smart class, one seminor hall with 100 seating capacities along besides 7 well equipped laboratories.
There are 02 Professors and 05 Assistant Professors including 03 Faculty Members.
The Department offers B.Tech. (EC) programmes, and the number of students intake is 60 every year.
The success rate at examinations EC-90% and employment rate 100% are fairly impressive in the present scenario.
The major focus of the Department in teaching and research has been on subjects of VLSI Design & Circuits , Antenna Engineering , Mobile Communication , DSP and Digital system Design. The Department has 60 Computers and sophisticated instruments as well.
Recently Department has Developed two advanced labs namily VLSI design lab with advanced version T-CAD & Image processing labs under TEQIP-III scheme sponsered by world bank. Also a smart class with HD Projector along with E-Podium has been establised under the same scheme.All the class equiped with HD cameras.
The Electronics & Communication Engineering course provides comprehensive knowledge of the subject through coverage of relevant and contemporary issues.
The focus is on sharpening analytical as well as designing skills and problem-solving abilities based on sensitivity to the rapidly changing environment, and a firm grasp of right values. The course structure is dynamic and is reviewed periodically to strengthen existing courses and introduce new ones in keeping with the requirements of the environment.
