• To uphold discipline within the college by ensuring all students understand and adhere to the established rules and regulations.
• To formally receive, review, and take appropriate action on complaints regarding breaches of conduct, submitted by students or other stakeholders.
• To monitor and promote the moral and ethical behaviour of students on campus.
• To foster a positive and conducive atmosphere for academic excellence, research, innovation, and personal development.
• To maintain a safe and secure campus environment, with special attention to the safety and well-being of women students, faculty, and researchers.
• To address student grievances through peaceful mediation and conciliation wherever possible.
• To safeguard the university's property, infrastructure, and other assets from damage or misuse.
• To coordinate with the District Administration and law enforcement agencies to maintain law and order on campus.
• The chief Proctor shall get a undertaking form filled by students and keep it for the record in his/her office.
• The chief Proctor office will issue identity card to each student.
• Proctorial Board on being approved by the Vice Chancellor.
• The Chief Proctor shall issue necessary instructions to the Security Officer to uphold law and order within the University campus.
• The Chief Proctor will present all matters of concern, upon approval by the Vice Chancellor, to the Proctorial Board for review and necessary action.
• Vehicle gate passes for staff, officers, and faculty members entering the University campus will be issued by the Office of the Chief Proctor.
• The office of the Chief Proctor will issue gate passes to outside visitors for accessing the University’s parks, sports stadiums, and pathways during morning and evening hours, upon payment of the prescribed fee in accordance with established guidelines.
