Sections of the Central Library
In a University Library set up the different task carried out by the respective sections. Thus keeping this view in mind following sections was established for better and smooth functioning of the library.
Acquisition/Processing Section
This is an important section of the central library. Through this section new books may be selected and ordered. Generally the subject books are being selected by the concerned Head of Department and general books are being selected by the Committee.
The respective subject areas are Animal Science, Plant Science, Management, Law, Economics, Ancient History, Engineering, Education, Literature etc. On procurement the books are being processed (through DDC and AACR-2 on KOHA software) for the users.
Stack-cum- Reading Room Section
In this section the entire book (text/reference) collection is housed and arranged as per DDC scheme for the users. Through this section a user can issue the required book but the reference books may be used exclusively within this section only. Recently self check-in and check-out kiosk (compatible with KOHA software) have also been installed for users.
Book-Bank Section
Book-Bank facility is available exclusively for the SC/ST students. Through this section books are being issued for whole academic year. The respective subject areas of the collection are Engineering and Technology, Science and Social Science. The collection of this section was donated by the Social Welfare Department of Uttar Pradesh government.
E-Books/Journals Section
In this section users can avail the facility of e-books/journals for their academic and research purposes. 728 titles of e-books (15 of Animal Science, 28 of Chemistry, 113 of Engineering & Technology, 32 of Education, 9 of History, 21 of Hotel Management, 4 of Journalism & Mass Communication, 35 of Law, 34 of Mathematics, 5 of Philosophy, 31 of Physics,
31 of Psychology, 28 of Social Work and 343 of Management) are available on-line through IP address of the Internet service provided by CSIT department of the university. These may be access at www.ebookcentral.proquest.com/lib/mjprb from anywhere within the university campus.
Apart from this 1210 e-documents (books/theses/dissertations/journals/magazines) are also available off line in library.

Newspapers and Magazines Section
In this section leading daily Newspapers (Hindi/English) and Magazines (Hindi/English) of competitive examinations and of general interest are available for the users. The comprehensive list is as under:-

Theses/Dissertations Section
In this section hard copy of Ph. D. Theses (awarded by this university) and Dissertations (awarded by campus departments) are preserved and arranged for the reference purposes.
